It's simply funny how you're trying to reference the Bible 'assuming it' to be true as a non believer and placing it as the foreground for this argument. I seriously wouldn't have answered you now, but since you do demand it, i'll leave you a few scriptures that are self explanatory about this issue, because elaborating them is like restating them. Mark 9:48, Revelation 14 and 20.
Read it, you will find out about an eternal conscious torment. Your soul isn't immaterial, it is material in the spiritual world, so after your body is done, it's time for your soul to be mauled brutally for all of eternity... with the worst part being you feeling it consciously. If hell wasn't painful, then why would the apostles themselves be bothered to give up their lives? Why would sinning be discouraged if there was no consequence likewise (again taking into consideration the Biblical context alone)?
