Obviously, I'm saying this as a European, and in some countries, 6ft is still a height goal that is worth striving for, with someone who is 6ft being considered tall.

But from a perspective where in most countries surrounding yours, and in the one you live in, the average is 5'11 (180cm), or even in some reaching 6ft, such as the Netherlands, Estonia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Being 6'2 (188cm) is the new minimum for a guy to have a decent life, and to be a little bit taller and more recognizable in the crowd.

Myself, I am 6'1 in shoes, and I get heightmogged by about 30-40% of males at school, and I'm Polish.
The percentage of people that heightmog me gets even greater when I'm walking around a city, especially only among young people around my age (15-16).

Literally in a few years when people my age turn to adulthood being 6'2 will be commonly considered the "new 6ft" or a new standard

These are the tallest countries in the world you know, they're not a great example

6'2 is top5%, I doubt that's unrecognizable even from a crowd that is on average 6 feet as well. Polish people are also taller, and, I don't really know what to do with your anecdote this instance
