I’m South Asian who frequently gets mistaken for MENA. The funny thing is, I personally don’t see it. I don’t see how people can’t tell I’m South Asian. I think it’s obvious. Even South Asians sometimes think I’m not South Asian or they categorize me as a different ethnic group than I actually am.

Just think about the most celebrated features on .org: hunter eyes, forward maxilla, high cheekbones, prominent zygos, coloured eyes. These are all traits you would see in one or two phenotypes and in one or two races. But it's extremely rare to see all of those traits in a black person (or even a black model).
