Can u guys share urs too, I hear all sorts of stuff from retin to antibiotics and acids not sure if I’m doing the right stuff:/

morning use a water cleanser to open pores and wash it off after 10 second > then use a citrus exfoliator scrub and massage it using a hand held exfoliator tool > wash it off after 2 mins > apply this tonic (pixie glow) or this serum (real pore minimiser) alternate each day> apply this moisturiser (dr organic skin brighenter) after 10 mins > apply spf (50 Boots soltain) if sunny

night : same two steps above > either hydroquinone or vitamin c l absorbic powdermixed withResveratrol and ferulic acid.
But I’m using lighting products but my skin is kinda the same just looks fresher. Anyone have any better products to recommend for fair skin

No red light therapy = shit skin routine

Throw away all jewcare products and just expose your skin to the sun 6 hours a day

- Cleanser doesn't "open pores"
- You sure as shit don't need to be using a physical scrub and the Pixi glow tonic both together.
- Do you mean the Medik8 pore minimising tonic?
- Hang on, are you trying to say that you exfoliate 4 times a day??? Which two steps are you repeating on an evening?

Morning: CeraVe sensitive skin cleanser - circular motions for 60 seconds whole face + witch hazel after cleansing + SPF 20 if sunny
Night: CeraVe sensitive skin cleanser - circular motions for 60 seconds whole face + thin layer of Vaseline (you'll have baby-smooth skin in the morning)
Exfoliating 2 times per week, by shaving (shaving with an electric razor exfoliates real good)

I use Retin A on every second evening , Vit C on every secnd evening and a Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer everyday in the morning

Cleanser just make my skin feeling fresh and it’s more effective using a scrub after
Why can’t I use pixie glow tonic after scrub ?

No it’s the ‘simple pore minimiser ‘
Only exfoliate are night sorry for the misunderstanding

What is more effective? The scrub is more effective because you cleansed or the cleanser is more effective with the scrub?
Because the Pixi glow tonic is also an exfoliator- it's just a chemical one instead of a physical one.
Okay, if its the one I'm thinking of, the Simple product is basically a micellar water type product. You don't need to use it after cleansing.

And to answer your original question, my routine changes each day and is way more complicated than it realistically needs to be.

My skin is decent but still not the " glass skin" and i currently have a breakout

Adapalene/retin a and SPF are the easiest things to do for most people.

And Cerave PM moisturizer at night

Cleanse face + moisturise in the morning

Cleanse, wait 10 min, retin-a, wait almost an hour or so, moisturise, infadolan before bed

Dip in toilet, flush.

How do u feel about using aquaphor as a moisturizer?

Aquaphor is exactly like vaseline btw.
In terms of getting moisture and hydration into your skin, it's not going to do much. What it will do is act as an occlusive so you minimise transepidermal water loss.

Side note, aquaphor isn't exactly like vaseline. Vaseline is purely petrolatum, Aquaphor is only 40ish% petrolatum.

Okay so firstly I appreciate all your responses.

Right now I only exfoliate and than I put aquaphor. After reading your skin guide post, I know I need to start introducing more products to better my routine.

You said to start slow and introduce each product one at a time.

So B/w hydroquinone, retin-a, vit c serum, and niacinamide, which product should I introduce first. What would be your ideal order
Please ask this stuff either in a DM or in one of my threads- I feel shitty hijacking other peoples threads.
But do you cleanse? That would be the first thing to start.
