Skin cancer isn't instant. It shows up on a delay of 5-15 years.
It's entirely valid to avoid the sun during worst UV periods. People in Australia, Dubai etc. don't go out when the UV index reaches maximum levels.
That being said, Melanotan II is so potent I'm not willing to pass up on sunbathing entirely - I'm just going to do it with the aid of chemicals to get the tan 100x faster.
(And anyone with skin below Fitzpatrick 2 looks like crap without a tan, unless they are a pale supermodel)
Also, I'm completely willing to pay the price of potential saggy skin or skin cancer at 50 years old to enjoy life in my 20s and 30s.
