I'm doing uni in the US at the moment and as I was walking out of the cafeteria yesterday I saw a booth with two girls advertising for something. I went there to check out what it was about and they told me it was to work at an event and that I'd get paid for it. So I scheduled a zoom meeting without expecting much of it.
Turns out it wasn't just one event, it's this massive event company that was coming over to the city and they were going to run hundreds of events over the course of 4 days. I could choose any event I wanted from countless of different things, some were really interesting. Most were catered to rich oldcels. They were paying 12 dollars an hour for students from my uni to do really basic jobs like serving tables, helping out in the kitchen or just standing around holding a tray and whatnot. Basically just have a brain, follow orders for a few hours and easy money.
If you just did 6 hours each of the 4 days that's 300 USD. A lot of money for an easy job that just landed on my lap and that I didn't have to do any screening to get. For real tho.
I can make my entire allowance on just a weekend and get a good work experience out of it. (i've never worked before)
