Do damon braces recess your maxilla? Theres a lot of guys saying traditional ones do limit and recess the maxilla

I did wear self-ligating braces for like 1.5 years,and it didnt do anything to my maxilla or chin,actually gave me a better maxilla.

also traditional ones dont recess you either, even if you extract premolars and use elastics, you will get barely any recession
