damon vs traditional braces

when it comes to these types of braces what's the main difference when it comes to aesthetic changes and are tradition braces compromising the maxilla and it's growth

Damon braces broaden your palate and give you more “natural” facial development and dont really do anything else . While traditional ones just straighten the teeth without usually doing anything. Traditional ones also dont recces your maxilla unless you get extractions or have retraction program from your orthodontist. But tbh it all depends on what dental problem you have.

what do you mean by natural facial development, i have an expander with the treatment would damon braces make it more effective?

By natural facial development i mean symmetry, cheek support, lip possitioning and overall facial balance. If you have straight teeth and an expander you dont really need damon braces. But if you have some sort of crowding then i think its worth getting
