But I guess dandruff --> itching hair --> damage hair folicies. But I wouldn't worry about it, just take better care of your hair.

Balding and dandruff are correlated, and when people use anti dandruff shampoo they usually do have some hair regrowth, but not anything like when they go on finasteride. I think the fungus that causes dandruff is bad for hair follicles and it hurts the already shrinking and disappearing follicles that balding men have
