High functioning psychopaths are some of the most charismatic people I've known. I used to talk to one regularly online, he was very interesting and cocky in a way that he saw himself as absolutely amazing yet the way he would communicate that never bothered anyone since it was coated in satire and at the same his own actual opinion.
Some good books on psychopathy are "The psychopath test", ''split second persuasion'' and the ''the wisdom of a psychopath''. I recall a story from Split second persuasion. Someone tried to rob a high functioning psychopath's house. Now most people would think the psychopath would fight back with an axe or something but the end result: He was drinking beer with the burglar at his own table.
You can read the details in the book as to how he did it. But long story short he made a bs background story for himself that was very relatable to the burglar. He showed extreme levels of cognitive empathy towards the burglar and they become buddies.
He even let the burglar take his macbook but they exchanged phone numbers because he supposedly knew better houses to rob and he wanted to make a profit together (all bs), later he gave the phone number to the police and they caught him lol.
