Other than being born without reproductive organs, it's hard to find a trait that would eliminate from the gene pool faster than experiencing chronic pleasure. There are all kinds of chronic pains to choose from, not a single kind of chronic pleasure. Schizophrenia? Down syndrome? Chronic depression that will eventually end in suicide? Disability? Mental retardation? Any of these things have a much greater chance of passing the genes on than chronic pleasure.
