I will tell you a little secret. The key to look good with long hair, besides the obvious (bones and overall attractive face) is not length but VOLUME.
Straight volumeless metalhead hair = gay
Wavy hair or straight with insane volume = alpha lion's mane
VOLUME and nothing but volume
