You can always ask the admins. They should tell you what qualifies for contributor.

Honestly, as a black guy for hair it's tempting to just chop it all off and focus on getting hard features and skin quality, I don't like the aesthetics of anything but braids, afro, or a clean chopped buzz (like Mukasa has in some pictures)
