@NocturnalKent - I barely ate or slept this past week. I kept checking my phone like it was going to give me answers it didn't have.
Then the rumors started. Brain aneurysm. Hospital. I didn't want to believe it. I tried reaching out to family. Anything to get some clarity. The not-knowing was heavier than I expected.
When I finally heard you were out, tears streamed down my face.
You may think you know Kent, but no one knows him like I do. He's the only human I've ever met who lives to holistically optimize to the same degree I do. We've been through thick and thin together. Growing up utterly invisible, ascending, building our platforms, being bombarded with hate during our controversies, having each other's back each and every day. We both want to be the best humans possible inside and out, but we also know we can't change the world alone.
We've been on this journey together for a while now. The late nights talking about the real shit - not just the looks, the body, the surgeries, the status - but the mind and perception behind it all. The parts that actually matter when everything else gets stripped away. You've been one of the real ones through all of it. Someone who truly sees me, and who I see right back.
This whole thing reminded me how thin the line really is. We spend so much time optimizing the vessel -the bones, the muscles, the hair, the skin - and it's important, it is. But none of it means anything if the people you actually give a fuck about aren't here to witness it with you.
Health. Perception. Connection. These aren't side quests. They're the whole game.
I'm just grateful you're still here, man. Breathing, fighting, and alive.
I don't take that lightly. Not after this last week.
To anyone reading this check on your people. Tell them you love them while you still can. Life moves fast and it doesn't always give warnings. Kent, I'm glad you're back. I'm glad you're okay. We'll keep ascending, till death do us part.
