If a sex offender gets 10 years in prison for groping a girl, then those will be 10 years of isolation and pure fantasy. Harsh punitive sentences for antisocial behavior were the norm pre industrialization, which reduced anti social genes from the gene pool, which over 1000+ years, improved nation building and civic cooperation (within the ingroup).
