When you choose to do something, are you choosing it’s consequences?

This question is fundamental to defining what a volcel is and is not.

I never really took any life changing decisions

Life-changing decisions aren’t what this is about. Actually you know what, all decisions are life-changing.

Anyway, if let’s say you’re overweight, and you choose to not go to the gym. Are you therefore choosing to be celibate?

There are a lot of factors contributing to InCelibacy such as face and height. If a 5'2 obese curry chooses not to work out he'd still be incel

In my opinion yes. Because otherwise your action is defined solely by the period of time in which it is performed. I can't see this being the definition for an action

Yeah but in theory do you believe that when one chooses to do things they choose the consequences of these things (what about distant or indirect consequences or consequences that aren’t certain to happen)?

Like it’s not so clear whether choosing to fap to porn is choosing to mess up one’s brain.

Is choosing to not study choosing failure?

depends on what tbh, if you are 6'4 BWC mogger of niggers but you are overweight then you are choosing the consequence, on other more complex scenarios you really cant "choose" the consequence, you can only try and guess what the consequence will be.

Yeah, it seems fhat for just about any thinking exercise you are necessarily choosing the action and the consequence. Like if you choose to shoot someone you are choosing to kill them. Or if you choose to get a job at a big company with lots of money, you are choosing to make lots of money. Other things are more distantly connected, like if you buy a diamond ring for your wife, are you choosing to kill and harm the people that work in those unregulated mines where the diamonds are from? Not really a clear yes or no answer there. But as for being a volcel it seems pretty clear to me. If youre fat, or you choose not to ask women out, etc. then you are volcel
