if life has no objective meaning and must create your own meaning, then finding a subjective meaning is already an objective meaning

Live has no meaning were just animals that are more conscious living on a rock flying trough space and there are thousands of other planets where more conscious beings live and all of them think they’re the chosen onesif life has no objective meaning and must create your own meaning, then finding a subjective meaning is already an objective meaning
if life has no meaning then this statement about it's meaningless is also meaninglessLive has no meaning were just a animal thats more conscious living on a rock flying trough space and there are thousands of other planets where conscious beings live and all of them think they’re the chosen ones
Why do you think our live has a meaning, do you believe in god or sum?if life has no meaning then this statement about it's meaningless is also meaningless
because if life has not meaning, then there's no life at all, but it's self-refuting. so life has a meaning. Why do you think our live has a meaning, do you believe in god or sum?
The only meaning for live in nature is to survive and reproduce to keep your species goingbecause if life has not meaning, then there's no life at all, but it's self-refuting. so life has a meaning.
and there's a god as an unmoved mover
it's only the biological one instead of metaphysical lulThe only meaning for live in nature is to survive and reproduce to keep your species going
Yeah true but if live has a meaning what would you say is it thenit's only the biological one instead of metaphysical lul
well-being/flourishing is the objective meaning of lifeYeah true but if live has a meaning what would you say is it then
absurdism is retarded just as nihilism, they are self-refutingabsurdism is often the correct and healthy mindset, or nihilism in case you are deep in severe depression and suicidal intentions
Reproduction is not the only aim in lifeThe only meaning for live in nature is to survive and reproduce to keep your species going
If we talk about nature then yes, what are other goals in life from nature then?Reproduction is not the only aim in life
i already explainedIf we talk about nature then yes, what are other goals in life from nature then?
Yes but maybe he has a different view on iti already explained![]()
Well this is what existencialism has always been saying, they never said the contrary. Only realists think this is wrong and life has a purpose (God and morals) which is stupid and delusional. You didn't debunk anything, you copy pasted JP Sartre.if life has no objective meaning and must create your own meaning, then finding a subjective meaning is already an objective meaning
have you even read that thread?Well this is what existencialism has always been saying, they never said the contrary. Only realists think this is wrong and life has a purpose (God and such things). You didn't debunk anything, you copy pasted JP Sartre.

No it's not. Existencialism proves realism is wrong. There's no "collective" end for any of our actions, there's no "mission" for any of our accomplishes. Life is simple, when you end doing something you start searching for another task/problem until you die. Anything you did wasn't aimed "for a bigger purpose" you were just coping, doing nothing in life is also a valid decision. Existencialism says the purpose is personal, the individual gives it meaning but it only lasts until the task is completed. In other words anything you do is meaningless in a great scheme of things and you have freedom to choose what to do.i showed that existentialism is self-refuting
so how does existentialism prove that realism is wrong? realism is literally more coherent. And even if we take your premise about non-existence of ending for any of our actions, then you are saying that you start searching for another task/problem (maslow pyramid) so it is already means that life has a bigger purpose. so your position is contradictoryNo it's not. The Maslow pyramid is wrong cus it implies certain idealism and ignores that some people don't care about reaching "higher goals" and focus only on the primary needs, it also can't explain addictions. In your world view, you can't explain what boredom and depression is and how they appear during life. Instead both Heidegger and Sartre explain how those feelings exist with just ontology. Even old indian philosophies agree with existencialism, we are born to suffer and search for copes, I mean a way to lose time while we live. Once you end searching on .org what are you gonna do, something greater? I don't think so, you're just gonna from one meaningless activity to another. Sartre is like if Heidegger was honest and agreed there's no purpose in the world.so how does existentialism prove that realism is wrong? realism is literally more coherent.
