1. Why it's stupid
Pickletoil, also referred to as any of the following: pickle, picklefag, fag and or faggot, believes we should close the forum. It's stupid for many good reasons.
1.1: Nothing will change. People like these don't just vanish, they will just flow into other environments. Be that .gg, .com (deserves to vanish) or .is. That means the problem just shifts. Why delete a long term community with history, a developing user base and traditions?
1.2: People will lose genuine sources. Org has that famous "Best of the Best" category which has extremely useful and detailed info. Only high quality guides and information threads make it there. Thousands of people can safely use looksmax for its original purpose without relying on some unverified bullshit elsewhere.
1.3: Whackamole theory. If you close org, another similar site pops up. Always. People want a place to rot in, and that - for many - is org.
2. Why it's useless
I feel like if you've been reading, I just wrote also why it's useless. Thousands if not more people are genuinely using looksmax.org's BOTB threads as a source, not a recommendation. That means people will have to resort to unsafe and unverified sources. Additionally someone will eventually rebuild org on a different domain name again. There's too much momentum to stop org.
3. Why it's harmful
There's one more thing I haven't noted yet: people will find worse places to rot in. Org is widely known for its brighter side, there's somewhat a form of "hope" in many. If org goes away, people will have to either resort to substances or worse forums like .is or .com to get the same hit. So now instead of a casual rotter in .org that has a sliver of hope in the future, you get a hopeless faggot who's spent too much time in .com and has gone trans entirely.

Conclusion
