Many people on here seem to dick-ride raw milk as beneficial compared to pasteurized milk, the latter of which is shat on as "estrogenic" etc... And that is just simply not the case; these coping mechanisms will be answered below ↓.
Please don't skim over it or call it AI, i hand-wrote and researched this entire thing😭😭😭😭

Firstly, a background: raw milk is straight out the cow, whereas pasterized milk has been heated in a systematic way to remove microorganisms inside.

Misinformation
Arguement: pasteurized milk is estrogenic and will make you a femboy.
Answer:
All milk is estrogenic. its produced by lactating, FEMALE cows that naturally produce estrogen. This arguement is bullshittery because
  1. if you use your common sense, heating destroys proteins and macromolecules within milk, including estrogen. If anything, raw milk contains more estrogen than pasteurized.
  2. according to this paper (Radko & Andrzej Posyniak, 2021), testing reproductive effects of raw vs pasteurized milk on hamsters, resulted in both milks having no statistically significant impact on their reproductive systems, and that the estrogen content of both types of milk are similar.
  3. if you again used your brain which some of yall lack, digestion destroys proteins including estrogen and prevents it from accessing your bloodstream. so the already negligible amount is also almost completely filtered out and overall I do not think it will have significant impacts on growth/testosterone/masculinity.

Arguement: pasteurized milk has less nutrients.
Answer:
Correct, in theory raw milk would have more nutrients but this amount is so fucking negligible that its sorely outweighed by the potential harms of it.

- The protein quality of pasteurized milk is not different from that of raw milk (Andersson and Oste, 1995).
Using in vitro method, Carbonaro et al (1996) found no difference in protein digestibility between raw milk (80.2%), milk pasteurized at 75°C/15s (80.02%), and milk pasteurized at 80°C/15s (80.3%).

and if you're still coping, remember that the whole point of digestion is to destroy proteins and macronutrients. "damaged proteins" muh, yeah stfu it doesnt matter anyways.

  • The protein quality of pasteurized milk is not different from that of raw milk (Andersson and Oste, 1995).

  • Minerals eg. calcium in milk are heat-stable and undergo minimal changes upon pasteurization.
  • Vitamins in high concentration are heat stable and environmental factors like light exposure etc...
  • pasteurization additionally has NO EFFECT on the amount of triglycerides in milk.
and if you're still coping, remember that the whole point of digestion is to destroy proteins and macronutrients. "damaged proteins" muh, yeah stfu it doesnt matter anyways.

Honorable mentions
  1. Immunoglobins, digestive enzymes et. al. in milk are predominantly heat-stable and most have no statistically significant effect on human digestion as per Fox, 2003.
  2. Bacteria found in raw milk are not of human origin and are inactive in humans, with expections being too minor to make a non-negligible difference.

NOW FOR THE CONS :lul::lul::lul::lul:
Raw milk has potentially dangerous patogens that can fuck you over and stunt growth/ruin digestive system/retard proper development/ ALL OF THE ABOVE
And this is essentially NON-EXISTENT in pasteurized milk.

Conclusion
Drinking raw milk is a fucking braindead idea. Its superiority to pasteurized milk is NEGLIGIBLE to NONE and carries HIGH RISK of dangerous pathogens, parasites and viruses that screw your shit. Pasteurized contains almost all of the benefits and is entirely sufficient and healthy as a milk source. What you should be more worried about, is where the milk is sourced from, whether its grass fed (good) or grain(bad).

TLDR: I SPENT AN HOUR WRITING AND TYPING UP THIS ESSAY, IF YOU CAN'T READ IT GO FUCK YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good thread, high effort, but kind of water, tbh

I literally drink raw milk for the vril and because it really tastes better. I'm not sure if it's myy mind playing tricks on me or the cream top that comes with each carton but pastuerized milk has always had a weird aftertaste to me.

And with the pathogens too, the brand I drink (or drank before it got put off the shelves in Erewhon in California) caused me to most likely get bird flu, (which is why they put it off the shelves).

I recovered swiftly because I have a relatively healthy lifestyle (anyways it's good for the immune system)

Anyways, I'll still be drinking my raw milk, sorry science boy.

Give yourself a break bro,
The dairy industry's claims about raw milk are nothing but propaganda. It's reminiscent of how palm oil companies manipulated research and bribed the media to promote their product as a healthier alternative to animal fats.

Personally, I've consumed raw milk my entire life, just like humans have done since the beginning of time ,I believe that's the reason I grew up relatively taller with my average height parents
