**DEBUNKING THE RAW MEAT DIET BS**

There's been some controversy going around on whether the raw meat diet is cope or if it's actually the optimal and beneficial diet for people.

The ideology states that eating raw animal products exclusively is the most optimal way for humans to eat.
The claim that the raw meat diet is the most optimal is generally made by health-influencers online who lack basic knowledge in nutrition and biology like "FaceLowIQ" for example.

Claims:

Raw meat contains all the vital nutrients and vitamins you need.

Fruit is not optimal and unnecessary.

Cooking food destroys vital nutrients.

Let's begin refuting these claims one by one:

First Claim: Raw meat contains all the vital nutrients and vitamins you need.

Raw meat is not a perfect food.
Although it does contain many essential nutrients and vitamins, it's still not a complete food.
There hasn't been any long-term research suggesting the raw meat diet is most beneficial for human health.

There is a lack of Vitamin C in raw meat which is essential for the human body.
Fiber is completely out the window in the raw meat diet and fiber is extremely important for gut health, digestion, and lowering risks of cancers/diseases.
Antioxidants, flavonoids, and phytonutrients, which protect against aging and disease are not found in raw-meat and are only found in plant foods.

Now we'll come to the best part:

HEALTH RISKS:

Eating raw meat is extremely dangerous and carries a majority of health risks which include:

- Illnesses
- Pathogens
- Parasites

Raw meat can harbor pathogens such as Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria.

Why the fuck would you not want to cook your food?

You're genuinely a fucking idiot if you eat raw-meat.

Cooking your food provides many benefits and I thought this was common knowledge but I guess not.

First of all cooking your food makes it taste better and have it not taste like shit.
Second of all, cooking your food prevents illnesses, pathogens, and parasites which I just listed above.
Third of all, it's safer and more digestible.

While traditional groups ate raw meat back then, their life expectancies weren't very high.

Second Claim: Fruit is not optimal and unnecessary.

First of all, this retarded ideology is completely unsupported by science.

Fruits contain many essential vitamins like Vitamin C, Vitamin A, and many B vitamins.

Fruits contain fiber which helps regulate blood sugar, improve cholesterol levels, and promotes a healthy gut.

Most importantly, fruits contain antioxidants and phytonutrients which help fight inflammation, reduce stress, and reduces the risks of diseases unlike raw-meat.

Fruits are low in calories therefore they help with weight.

I can go on and on but you get the point.

Third Claim: Cooking food destroys vital nutrients.

No, cooking your food doesn't destroy all vital nutrients.

It is true that some vitamins are sensitive to heat but do you really want to risk developing diseases just because you want a few extra vitamins?

You have to be fucking slow.

Cooking your food increases bioavailability of certain nutrients like boosting antioxidants.

It reduces anti-nutrients like lectins and phytic acid.

I can't believe I even had to make this because I thought this was common sense.
There's genuinely people out there who think fruits are bad for you. ๐Ÿคฃ

all just completely wrong lmao. when not eating carbs, you need very very little vitamin C. you will not find a single case of scurvy on all meat diets.

fiber is a fuckin joke. it CAUSES gut problems and is an antinutrient hindering digestion. the only beneficial thing about fiber is that it slows down the absorption of carbs and other shit foods that you eat.

antioxidants lmaooooo. oxidants rather. phytonutrients are a joke and made up. little to no benefit and have more negatives than positives.
Eating raw meat is extremely dangerous and carries a majority of health risks which include:

- Illnesses
- Pathogens
- Parasites

Raw meat can harbor pathogens such as Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria.
yea. but these are extremely rare if the animal is fresh and healthy, fed properly, not raised in nasty conditions, and handled properly. if youre buying normal grocery store meat then eating raw isnt worth the benefits.

First of all cooking your food makes it taste better and have it not taste like shit.
also untrue. at least its very nuanced. if you arent used to eating raw meat then of course it will taste weird. and when you think cooking makes it taste better thats because youre thinking of adding salt and seasoning. cooking alone does not make it taste better it makes it taste more familiar.

Second of all, cooking your food prevents illnesses, pathogens, and parasites which I just listed above.
only valid point. nuanced though.
Third of all, it's safer and more digestible.
almost never true. depends on the meat/cut. the idea that cooking makes it more digestible is only for slow cooking connective tissue. for some reason people are retarded and extrapolate that to all protein lmao. its the opposite. theres a reason people eating raw meat always report feeling lighter after meals and feel much better digestion with less lethargy

Fruits contain many essential vitamins like Vitamin C, Vitamin A, and many B vitamins.
holy shit is this ever wrong. vitamin C sure but its not needed in such high quantities. vitamin A is the biggest joke ever. plant form of vitamin A is useless to humans. eat liver. B vitamins lmaoooo thats not even close to true either. incomparable to meat.

Fruits contain fiber which helps regulate blood sugar, improve cholesterol levels, and promotes a healthy gut.
blood sugar yea, but just dont eat sugar...
cholesterol holy shit are we fuckin stupid??? have fun with low T lmao. cholesterol is incredibly healthy dont fall for jewish prop
healthy gut jfl. i mean honestly there would be some gut benefits to fiber, we are optional omnivores but preferable carnivores. we are slightly capable of digesting fiber but theres a reason the appendix is vestigial. it used to be used for fermenting fiber but we evolved from eating meat.

Most importantly, fruits contain antioxidants and phytonutrients which help fight inflammation, reduce stress, and reduces the risks of diseases unlike raw-meat.
Fruits are low in calories therefore they help with weight.
gotta be ragebait

No, cooking your food doesn't destroy all vital nutrients.
nobody ever said all. dont be a retard

It is true that some vitamins are sensitive to heat but do you really want to risk developing diseases just because you want a few extra vitamins?
gross oversimplification. but it is a valid question. if you are sourcing healthy meat, like i talked about earlier, then the unbelievably low risk of disease is absolutely worth the moderately healthier meat. cooking meat isnt that bad, but raw is undoubtedly better. its not just about a few vitamins either.

Cooking your food increases bioavailability of certain nutrients like boosting antioxidants.
certain. very very few. antioxidatns again lmao

It reduces anti-nutrients like lectins and phytic acid.
which arent in meat??? im falling for the ragebait arent i. plants are toxic therefore should be cooked if eaten. meat is not toxic.

There's genuinely people out there who think fruits are bad for you.
fruits arent that bad. they are by no means essential though, or even necessarily good. over years of selective breeding and gmo, they are completely different than what they used to be though, fewer vitamins and more sugar. and well, theres concerns of pesticides too.

No way you actually thought you did something idiot. ๐Ÿ’€

Let me address your points now:

โ€œFiber is a joke. Causes gut problems.โ€

By far the dumbest point you've made since several studies show fiber is beneficial for microbiome health, cancer risks, and inflammation.

โ€œPhytonutrients are made up.โ€

Nice braindead point. They're chemically measurable and are studied in pharmacology.

โ€œOxidants are better than antioxidants.โ€

No, it's linked to aging, DNA damage, cancers, and diseases. Some is obviously needed but a lot is harmful. Nice one.

โ€œVitamin A from plants is useless.โ€

Only somewhat valid point but sadly taken out of context. Some people convert it differently, but that doesn't mean it's useless.

โ€œDonโ€™t eat sugar and you wonโ€™t need fiber.โ€

This is rare but possible and again anecdotes aren't science.

You literally misunderstand the fiber role entirely you don't know what you're talking about. ๐Ÿ’€

Nice cope with the idea if the animal is clean the meat is magically safe.

That's not how it works.

Even clean animals can carry pathogens they're not just from factory farms.

Even pasture-raised, grass fed, organic, or โ€œcleanโ€ animals can carry:

  • E. coli O157:H7
  • Listeria monocytogenes
  • Toxoplasma gondii
  • Campylobacter
  • Trichinella spiralis
  • Salmonella

So this take is just retarded.
Contamination can happen after slaughter even in clean farms.
    The diet isn't safe long-term.

not what i said. i admit the way i worded it was pretty poor tho.

my point is that plant "antioxidants" are actually oxidants. the way they work is by triggering antioxidant responses from the body via hormesis. whereas meat antioxidant properties are true antioxidant.

โ€œFiber is a joke. Causes gut problems.โ€

millions of anecdotes mogs flawed science. health is incredibly complex and has crazy monetary incentives its laughable that people trust the "science" around it

Then that's you most people would say it doesn't taste good.
I just tried both cooked (there was a bit of blood inside) and raw beef. The cooked version was too tough and tasteless. The raw version was much softer and a bit sweet. I can't say the same about chicken; it's disgusting to me. It just needs to be cooked.

It reduces anti-nutrients like lectins and phytic acid.

I can't believe I even had to make this because I thought this was common sense.
There's genuinely people out there who think fruits are bad for you. ๐Ÿคฃ

As soon as I read "fiber = good" and "salmonella = bad" I knew you had no idea what your talking about, salmonella already exists in our gut microbiome and has been proven as non pathogenic. The best study on fiber proves it actually increases bloating and constipation and REMOVING IT gets rid of all these problems. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3435786/

Raw meat is not a perfect food.
It is.
Although it does contain many essential nutrients and vitamins, it's still not a complete food.
It is a complete food.
There is a lack of Vitamin C in raw meat which is essential for the human body.
There is enough Vitamin C in it. You don't need much Vitamin C on the diet when not eating carbs.
Indigestible plant toxin.
Raw meat can harbor pathogens such as Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria.
Those are already found in your body and bacteria help cleanse dead cells in the body, they're not unhealthy.
Fruits contain many essential vitamins like Vitamin C, Vitamin A, and many B vitamins.
There are no B vitamins in fruit. Are you fucking retarded you son of a bitch?
No, cooking your food doesn't destroy all vital nutrients.
It destroys all the water soluble vitamins.
Cooking your food increases bioavailability of certain nutrients like boosting antioxidants.
No, it doesn't. Cooking your food doesn't increase the bioavailability of anything. Heat damages everything that it comes in touch with.
Third of all, it's safer and more digestible.
Cooking your food makes it less digestible, retard.

Show me a SINGLE study where it shows cooked meat is more digestible than raw meat.
Fruits are low in calories therefore they help with weight.
You can not eat a calorie, it's an unit of heat. And fructose/glycogen makes you gain weight, not lose weight.

Fruits make you fat.

Another day, another incompetent retard debunked. Hang yourself, retard, spreading misinformation.
