Some guys here follow a vegan diet and claim humans are herbivores/frugivores,
their knowledge comes from shit tier memes like that
first of all frugivores also eat insects and sometimes hunt
most of them can digest fibre which humans can't
and they're omnivore by definition
I will debunk this shit point by point
wrong
irrelevant and wrong
no proof for anything and irrelevant
irrelevant cause humans don't hunt with their mouth
irrelevant cause of the same reason
wrong human molars aren't flat
irrelevant cause humans don't hunt with their mouth
depends on the food but humans have reduced masseters unlike herbivores wrong salivary gland histology has barely anything to do with diet
again dogs have same saliva
wrong human urine with average 6.0 ph is acid
cows, sheeps etc. also have uricase so irrelevant
wrong human hydrochloric acid with ph 1.5 is extremly strong
wrong
idk
true
wrong most carnivores are about 5:1 and humans have 7:1
wrong human colon is short( about two times shorter than intestine length) and most other apes have colons which are 2-3 times longer than their intestines
wrong data cats and dogs for example need 30 hours for entire digestion
additional data
Summary human digestive tract differs from apes, who are mostly omnivore, in a way that makes it easier for us to digest protein, fat(meat)
We could get all vitamins and mineral from meat but would lack on a lot (Vitamin A, B12, K2mk4, etc) if we follow a plant only diet.
