Hello my niggas i am currently on my way to saving up for bimax and then this question came to my mind about how much time it would take to the required decompensation of my bite

Current bite shown in the RX i know for sure my upper teeth need to go back by a lot to allow good movements thanks to being a camouflaged class 3

But how much time it would take to be ready for surgery ?

Also your jaw seems quite narrow in the front skeletally but the face is wide. Is it masseter?

From start to finish 1-1,5 years aprox. i would estimate.
You could of course do it quicker by reincarnating.

I wouldn’t bother it’s close enough.
You don’t even look recessed.

maybe idk i have sfs that causes my face to look wider and due to the class 3

I don't think you need any osteotomy in general, you don't even look like you'd have sfs, irl might be worse but from the scan it seems normal.

I have sfs due to a lack of height in my upper maxilla the main objective of the bimax is to turn my occlusal plane with clockwise rotation and being able to pull my maxilla down while projecting more my smile rn i have a sort of hidden smile where i can barely show my teeth even trying hard

What is sarcastic about what I said? You have a class 3 and a hypodivergent face brah
pretty shitty ain’t it?

A maxillary downgraft would solve it mostly?

yes but they will extract premolars on the maxilla which is bad. Maybe you could decompensate a little without extraction and do downgraft and retain some mild non-noticable class 3 which would be better idk.

idk i think i have a bit of space to move them back around 3-4mm maybe it’s enough to turn the vector of my upper front teeth enough so the angle is not too steep. At least enough for the downgraft

My sister's friend had the same, she had to get 2 jaw surgeries she said it was a nightmare for her
