Can insoles/lifts decrease in added height? Or they fucked up my posture/spine? I legit got smaller after 4 months of using it

I mean same shoes and same insoles I wore yesterday put me into 5’10 zone but they used to put me into 5’11-6’ zoneCan insoles/lifts decrease in added height? Or they fucked up my posture/spine? I legit got smaller after 4 months of using it
