Do deep set eyes same as sunken eyes? Like what’s the difference?
Can somebody show me a pic?

deep set eyes can become sunken eyes with age, my grandmother has it pretty badly, the entire orbital around her eyes is visible.

But is it actually good to have them when young?

Deep set eyes mean your brow ridge protrudes 1cm further than your outermost corneal point. It is synonymous to having your eyes "set into the skull", or "having a prominent brow/frontal bone".

While "sunken eyes" has TWO meanings. The most common one is: "You have teartroughs" or "undereye discoloration".

Your eyes can be deep-set, or shallow, but be sunken.

The SECOND meaning, is when you have age-related loss of the fat inside the eye socket. Which results in your eyes getting deeper, or "more sunken". This is synonymous to "deep set eyes" but has negative connotation. "Deep set eyes" is an attractive or neutral facial feature, which describes how your eyes look. "Sunken eyes" describes old, deep-set eyes, that look "dead":
