Denied for bimax

I am 18 and i have a mild underbite. My bite is still somewhat functional but it really bothers me. For the past months ive been going through the public healthcare trying to get bimax but they just told me they wouldnt operate on me since they think it might "worsen" my profile and that there are too many risks involved to perform such an invasive surgery when my bite is still functional. I have told them to send the xrays and pictures but i dont have them yet. Right now its like my teeth are shifting and its really affecting my confidence. My growth plates are almost closed and im wondering what you guys think i should do. Im contemplating getting the surgery done in another country but its still pretty expensive. I have another appointment in 6 months where they will take a look and compare the models to see if my situation has worsened itself. They wont give me braces or expanders since my bite is functional but the problem is that in the past year i have my lower jaw has grown too forward and my upper front teeth are sloping towards the lower ones.

Most of the doctors and surgeons care only about functionality and not looks

Maybe it's better this way, cuz if some bluepilled surgeons operates you, you probably wouldn't be satisfied with aesthetic result

yeah good fucking luck. i remember being so confident at 18 myself tryna get MSE through PRIVATE and was denied, with a 34.2mm intermolar at 6’3 (ik skull sizes vary throughout similar heights as well, but im just putting it out there as a rough reference as idk my bizygo, but so you could understand the ridiculousness of “your palate is wide enough bro!”)

moral of the story is - that you’re not getting shit. being honest with you, in both cases, all they saw was teenage autists who spend too much time on the internet. thug it out for a few years; get chin filler for now, and when you already have a stable income - you will simply:

do fuck all because by the time you have a stable income you will forget about this autism and live a way happier life than right now.

either that, or you’ll just get trimax alongside a bunch of other procedures.

(p.s. thank gandy i didn’t end up getting that MSE cause it would’ve RAPED my harmony )

Yh hopefully I dont end up in the same boat, my bite was griefed by original ortho when I was younger gave me an overjet and a posterior open bite.
Im gonna try get another ortho referral and fix ts whether via or bimax or bsso or whatever. If they deny me Im using all the money I slaved for in minimum wage and going to rome

yea i did i guess im just posting these pics to get some reassurance in the fact that my bite is fucked. my parents think im crazy and if i tell any of my friends about it theyll prob say the same. im in this spot where the change has happened over time so nobody noticed but my face has def changed. so ig i just wanted somebody somewhat knowledgable to look at my xrays and tell me i need the surgery xd. do you think i should save up and get it in another country or do u think i can somehow fix my maxilla without getting the surgery? im currently taking mk 677 (ik its weak) and igf 1 lr3 my plates are pretty much closed but im hoping that doing that plus mewing may somehow impact my facial strucure positively but mby itll just make my lower jaw grow far enough forward so theyll give me the surgery xd. but tbh i think nothing is gonna happen and im just coping. sry for the long speech i lowkey just feel hopeless and idek what the point of this reply was xd

im not even that recessed but my lower jaw has just grown too forward. the worst part is that i think its my own fault. my chin is not very prominent and my in my old bite it made it look like my lower jaw was recessed even though i had perfect occlusion. this made me stupidly start jutting and having my tounge on my front teeth to try and get forward growth lmao it was so stupid i didnt know shit back then. idk if its the cause but i blame myself anyway
