i went to the dentist today and got a consult and i have a developed maxilla that is just fine but my mandible is recessed. I asked about damon braces and she said she doesnt use them because of the gates and that we could get a herbst appliance or i could get jaw surgery but i would have braces for 24 months because my teeth are a whole tooth over but my teeth are decently straight they said 8500 for the herbst appliance and braces but idk how much the surgery would be what should i choose?
