Derma rolling with minor acne?

Should I use derma roller if I have some acne? I don’t have anything crazy bad, but I have some blackheads on my cheeks and chin that sometimes become tiny pimples that are easy to get rid of. I only occasionally get larger pimples. I wanted to start using derma roller for collagen benefits, would I be able to just avoid going over the small spots that I have acne or should I just wait for my skin to be completely clear?

Dont dermaroll if you have active acne, you'll burst it and cause the bacteria underneath to spread. Only once they are dead can you start.
