I went to my appointment today and I was hoping to get a specific tretinoin cream, but instead, the dermatologist said it won't help and gave me Aklief, which contains a retinoid as an active ingredient. When I mentioned this, she said what a coincidence.Luckily, the consultation was free and I didn't have to pay for this bullshit.
Was I trolled, or will it work fine? Have yall used this product?

the concentration is super low cus it binds more efficiently than tret, are they refusing to give you tret? If so then get a source for one and buy it online. Itll be way cheaper also

I found a source to buy tret but she said it won’t help in my case
Also when I started talking about peptides she told me I can do whatever I want just make sure not to interfere with the acne treatment
Guess she doesn’t like me or some shit

yeah man fuck her, but you could use this retinol she gave you to work up to tret, as trets pretty strong if you havent used retinol in the past. So use this one for a month or two ( or a little less ), then go to up to tret

I’ve used some retinol bullshit cream she gave me in the past but it didn’t do much
Now i hope this one will work since i want to use minoxidil
