To correct an overbite, which is what you said, it will be upper canine to lower first molar. So #6 > #30 (upper right canine to lower right first molar)
Class 3 elastics will correct an underbite. So upper first molar to lower canine, #3 > #22 (upper right first molar to lower left canine)

Elastics do not cause recession. in your maxilla. Why would bands cause maxilla recession? That's just not even the correct terminology. Learn your shit, first, before using these terms.

An underbite is more important to fix than having slight recession in a maxilla, which, isn't even caused from bands.

exract all molars and premolars and dont eat protein for optimal results stick to veganism

But pulling back on the upper teeth would cause them to came back with the maxilla or Does it pull the lower teeth back ?

Upper teeth move backward along the maxilla, lower teeth move forward along the mandible. Jaw bones themselves mostly stay in place unless you're young and your growth plates are still growing. Fixing an under bite is more important then a potential recession, dental problems are life changing. Do not underestimate how much braces will make you ascend, high oral quality is a big portion of ascending. Bands will not mess you up.
