I see an absolute flood of threads lately on the board where fat guys get a mediocre rating, panic, and immediately declare that they are just going to "chudmax" or "LDAR." They post about it like it’s the only solution, and thats it a paradise where they dont have to worry about looking better/girls (cope). When in reality its simply a way to opt out of a rigged sexual market and save their energy.
This idea seems ok for genuine subhumans, completely ugly people but most people who do this are extremely fat, not even softmaxxed and have put 0 effort into improving themselves. It's completely illogical and a major cope that people truly believe this makes there quality of life better. Let's look at the susposed benefits and contrast them with the true reality of letting you're baseline slip even further.
Susposed benefits of ldaring:
Overall not only is this illogical, it's a horrible idea If a guy is a genuine, structurally impossible outlier who has maxed out every single variable and hit a literal genetic wall, that’s one thing. But 99% of the people are just lazy, extremely obese who don't even wanna try. It's truly never over and there's objectively no benefits when it comes to ldar/chudmaxxing. It's never over.

- Energy and Financial Conservation" (Not wasting money or time on gym, diet, or style)
- "Ego Protection" (If you don't try, you can't technically fail or face rejection)
- "Peace of Mind" (Dropping out of the game to focus on low-tier instant gratification like gaming/gooning)
- The Delusion of "Conservation" vs. Systemic Biological Decay- you aren't conserving anything, you are actively subsidizing your own depreciation. While your letting your bodyfat and estrogen climb you are making a downpayment by the medical bills that will follow.
- The trap of "ego protection" the biggest cope yet, "if I don't try I don't fail" this is just a temporary relief for the greater cost of loosing your social battery which operates through a use it or loose it way. You will slowly not even be able to talk to the pizza driver at your door.
- "Peace of mind" aka dopamine destruction. This is simple, instant gratification will slowly lead you down a whole where you can't find pleasure in anything, not even videogames, doomscrolling, or porn. Your brain simply will be in a state of chronic, gray anhedonia.
