Got reminded of my crush after today's dream.
When I woke up, I immediately had this theory in my brain.
When you're in a shared space, like class, work, etc,
Women don't want to date there (kind of like don't shit where you eat wisdom), therefore if you're not at least 2-3 points higher than her,
she will just try to find guys in other places like Social Media, etc.
This is so that in case of break up, she can cleanly leave with no consequences.
This is not the same if she dated guy at a work or class, where she will have to stay there for year or even multiple years, making things awkward for her.
Ofc this can be overcome if you're chadlite or better and she really likes you, but otherwise even if you're htn, she will not want to risk it.
It also has negative affects on you, because it will make you more awkward when talking to her and it will also distract you massively,
as well as frustrate you long term.
I'm not sure if this was always the case, like if hundreds of years ago if you met some girl at church or school, would she would date you since she didn't have 100 other dudes hitting on her on Instagram?
but yeah having a crush at work or class for boys and men is a death sentence, since she will do everything in her power to keep you in the friendzone / simpzone to keep things clean, while giving chances to guys who hit on her in other avenues.
I guess one way if you really like her is to remove yourself from that work / school by transferring to somewhere else, wait few weeks / months and then message her for dates.
That way if things don't work out, she knows that she will cut you off cleanly,
but you still have stigma of "people know this guy here, they will ask me if I am still dating him" and she also knows that YOU know where she works / studies, so it's still not that clean / more risky for her.
But yeah, developing crush on someone in shared space is a DEATH SENTENCE.
