Some people have mentioned this hormone as a steroid hormone that helps with masculinization as well as muscle building. Since I don't have any access to normal prohormones in my country and don't want to take roids due to side effects, and concluding that DHEA is very accesible and cheap in my country, I would like to ask if someone has used it. Has it helped you with hair growth, muscle building and other androgenic effects? Does it shut down T production and what kind of side effects does it have?

It does not shut down T production, if you stay within acceptable ranges. I've used both DHEA and Pregnenolone and they are safe to use. They are steroid hormones, precursors of T and estrogen.
A young guy should already produce a good amount of DHEA. Only downside is that it can convert to Estrogen, so you'll have to monitor the effects.

I am using aromatase inhibitors, I don't care about estrogen, it's already very low. I want more dismorphism and muscle + hair growth, will DHEA help me?

How can you make such statements than? I am asking experts
Gl finding "experts" on looksmax.co jfl. DHEA is cope. Even testosterone is cope for muh dimorphism (and I used it). Just work out properly, eat properly and have the genes or get surgery if you want a more masculine face. There are no shortcuts

I did. It works.

First and foremost it converts to T. Other thing, it converts to 7-keto-DHEA which is an anti-cortisol. Third thing, it converts to DHEA-S, which is a neurosteroid, and T also converts to neurosteroids, which give the desired mental effects.

Downsides: DHEA has an estrogenic activity on its own, so even if you take aromatase inhibitor, expect sides.
T shutdown happens. There is virtually no roid that doesn't cause shutdown, or even a SARM.
Norwooding is a risk. It happened to me.
Increased androgens cause hypertension, which is potentially a very serious side effect, but can be actually beneficial if you also take a strong hypotensive like minoxidil.

DHEA is the safest of all roids, but don't expect too much from it. The main benefits are mental. It's also a good component of any stack.

DHEA does not elevate testosterone in men. It does in women though. It brings estrogen up a little bit in both sexes. Slightly more estrogen is typically well-tolerated by men. It's slightly anabolic, since estrogen (like insulin) is a storage-hormone. It can boost libido. It might cause down-regulation of estrogen over 6 weeks or more. 4 days simply won't cause any changes in your hormones whatsoever. You aren't having "suppression" symptoms from the DHEA. Something else is going on.

How much did you take? What dosages would you recommend? Should I cycle it?

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9876338/ here I see that it may burn fat and increase muscle strength and increase IGF-1 also
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23417481/ middle-aged men have got elevated free t levels
That's all I found. It has its benefits

What because of estrogen? You think that elevated estrogen burns fat, builds muscle and raises free T?
No i am talking about the IGF here, insulin

estrogen plays a role also for insulin

Yes.
DHEA + DHT = God-Tier. You combine an aromatizable steroid with a non-aromatizable.
DHEA + Androsterone same.

Well, can't get such things in my country, only DHEA solo + anastrazole that is known to increase dht slightly too, as far as I'm concerned

Inject test , much better

Start with 100mg/day. Then increase by 100mg up to 500mg/day. If you see sides like headache (hypertension) or roidrage (too much DHEA-S to 3-alpha-androstanediol), stop for 1 day and try again.

Don't go above 500mg/day. If you take some other roids, reduce DHEA. Cycle it like everything else. After 8 weeks do a PCT with ATD or 6-bromo.

Aren't those doses high? In the internet 50-100 mg are recommended

Don't listen to those copers.

100mg is a minimum to actually feel anything. Real doses start at 200-300. I never took more than 500.

I took the numbers from some paper where they fed 500mg/day to dudes and foids and measured 2x-3x T and DHT increase.
