They're fine. Yes if you're not finished with puberty they could have an effect. But many people are already past puberty at 16. If you're sure you're still growing, you could start with minoxidil only (non-hormonal) to try and stall for 6-12 months. But no matter what you'll have to use Finasteride/Dutasteride within a couple years unless you wanna go bald. I got on it at 17.

what i was thinking aswell tbh. Is combining minoxidil with finas/dutas alright?

Where have you got the retarded idea that DHT grows bones JFL? I’m guessing TikTok because there is nothing to back that up.

What a fucking retarded thing to do to just google it JFL and call it research.

Maybe i’ll go vegan now?

No study shows that DHT grows bones. Do some real research JFL.

Patients with dihydrotestosterone deficiency present normal bone mineral density, suggesting that dihydrotestosterone is not the main androgen acting in bone.
"but it is not clear"

"Patients with dihydrotestosterone deficiency present normal bone mineral density" NORMAL

The two guys on the left have 0 DHT (literally)
Yeah I can tell look at their boneless fucking faces
and they still have a normal bone structure
Look at their face they are fucking boneless
and an identical height, bone density and skeletal mass to their healthy siblings, it have a higher binding affinity to the androgen receptor but it doesn't cause the same physiological response.
The pubertal growth spurt (for men) is also induced by testosterone and not DHT.

Also 5AR is not very active in bone tissues and DHT is mainly a paracrine hormone (i.e it acts where it's produced while testosterone acts on the whole body despite being produced in the testes).
dnr I already replied

watch the new rehab room video about finasteride

First of all, don't start any DHT blocking as of yet, instead follow my hormone free hair restore routine.
You'll need liquid minoxidil at 5% and dermaneedle. You are going to use the liquid minoxidil orally by drinking 1 drop every morning and gonna do dermaneedle at the bald, thinner spots at 1.5mm every 3 weeks.

Here's my routine which I wrote for one of my friend:

So the way it works: when you are using topical minoxidil the extent of effect depends how much sulfotransferaseenzyme your scalp has. Minoxidil on it's own is useless sulfotransferase enzyme converts it to bioavailable compound. Some guys see great results on topical minoxidil some not so much, it all depends how much their scalp has of this enzyme. Now you can boost it to some extend with dermaneedleing but it's a pain in the ass and uncomfortable. Btw it's even inconvinient to apply topical minoxidil everyday because it's makes your hair greasy and bad looking. And enter oral minoxidil: when you ingest minoxidil orally it is processed by your liver which is full of sulfotransferase enzyme, so it all gets converted into bioavailable minoxidil. The caveat here is that orally it will work everywhere in your body, so it will make your hair grow like crazy and make your beard thicker and darker, eyebrow, eyelashes will grow as well and the bad thing is that your body hair will be growing too. For me the only part I saw increased body hair growth was the back part of my neck. However I can safely say that it's a very small price to pay compared to 5ar blockers like fin and dut and you can always do a laser hair removal.

The application method: You have a 60ml of 5% regular Minoxidil, in 1ml there is 50mg of minoxidil and you need to take 2.5mg which is 0.05 ml which is only 1 drop of liquid. I tried 5mg 2 drops but it made my face bloat a little bit and the effect was the same, so with 2.5mg I don't have any bloat and no side effects only neck body hair growth. I take it in the morning after I wake up it has alchohol taste so I just drink some water with it but you can take it anytiime during the day. I promise you if you try this and stick with it for 2-3 months you'll see unbelivable results, my beard looks amazing now and my hairline came down 1 cm and it's been only months for me so results will come until 1 year or so. It's the easiest, cheapest and most rewarding side effects/benefits hair loss treatment.

Test, E2, hgh and igf1 are what cause bone growth, not fucking DHT.
Too lazy to read the study
Is there anything wrong with these people with literally 0 dht

Both Finasteride and Dutasteride (5a-reductase-inhibitors) are generally well-tolerated drugs.

However, at 15 you're very young indeed. Discuss this with your dermatologist in depth and weigh the pro and con.

Personally i also started balding at 16 but managed to buy some time with minoxidil. I kept balding even ON minoxidil though, just at a slower rate.

Only when i added Finasteride in my twenties did i start regaining ground again.

Yeah that's fine. Minoxidil is a growth stimulant which means it doesn't actually stop hair loss, but it could potentially buy you some time until you're old enough to use a DHT blocker that does stop hair loss. You could use them right now but if you think you might not be fully grown then that could be a risk. So maybe use 5% topical minox morning and night for 6-12 months and then get on fin/dut.
