Dht is an extremely vital hormone. Do not believe all those people claiming dht is thrash after puberty. It's all bullshit. I naturally have high dht production. As a result of that I used to have a hairy body, could grow full facial hair, 7 inch penis and developed a manly voice in my puberty. It helps you have raging boners and very high libido. Even though you are an incel in terms of looks standarts, it skyrockets your self-esteem. As a result of dht and genetic predisposition to male patterns baldness, my hair loss began at the age of 17. I waited until 23 to hop on dutasteride (Finasteride caused even more side effects.) After starting dutasteride, my overall life quality has never been the same. I've regrown hair and gone from NW2 to NW1 and my diffuse thinning has been reversed. However, my libido has taken a slight hit, my erection quality is nowhere near what it used to be pre-dutasteride. Self-esteem is totaly gone. Explosive power, strength and desire to live are tottaly gone. That's the price I had to pay to save my hair. Without hair, it'd be over for me and I would've already roped. It looks like pyrilutamide is the only chance for men to save their hair without ruining their lives. On paper, it's efficacy is equal to 2.5 mg dutasteride without any change in hormone profile and androgen receptors in the other areas of the body. I'm still skeptical about these claims. This sounds too good to be true.

It's not about libido. My libido is almost intact as I still desire to fuck every day. Your brain is fucked up and your overall masculine traits are highly affected. I do not believe in PFS bullshit btw. But you gotta be on the drug consistently anyway.

i guess it depends on receptor sensitivity. I tried 100+mg of proviron solo and felt literally 0 effects on mood and libido. So for me - dht does nothing ( mentally) But there are plenty of guys on gear who feel nothing on testosteorne meanwhile proviron makes them confident/energetic with high libido.

I've always wondered how some users can't tolerate finasteride but they can with dut? Meanwhile dut suppresses 90% serum DHT?

Vital for making you bald and ruining your skin quality.
A Fin dose only gets rid of 60-70% of DHT so the mental effects vary from person to person because some people are more reliant on neurosteroids then others. Also if you want improved erection quality consider investing into a bathmate

placebo

If It was a nocebo effect, same thing would happen with dutasteride as well. It's not a nocebo. I've been aware of hair loss treatments since 2014. It took me years to look into them before hoping on.

Then you are definitely the type of guy to get in your own head about these treatments and give yourself nocebos

I take that with oral fin

why would they ban you for that alone?
I argued with a stupid user who out of no reason alleged that I risked the health of users in the subreddit just beacuse I defended low dose oral minoxidil without any harsh statements. Suddenly, I noticed I was no longer able to post any threads. I don't know if he got banned as well.

I'm 25 and I was diagnosed with mpb in 2014 at the age of 17. All the stupid derms told me not to hop on fin/dut just because they thought they were dangerous drugs that can completely ruin my life. I held onto my hair for 6 years before hoping on dut+oral minoxidil. My hair loss, thankfully, progressed very slowly. At the and of 6 years, I was only nw2 and a combination of dutasteride+oral minoxidil made me go back to NW1.

DHT is vital, gived me strenght to live my life to the fullest, DHT caused hairloss and I taked duta to revers it but my vitality went down. Anyways, I will rope without If I lose my hair. Dude You contradicting yourself, why You alterated your mental health for the hair?

Male pattern baldness itself causes serious mental damage. You have to choose between the damage you can sustain either by dutasteride or mpb. You'll look even much much worse with a balding head. That's the deal.

How you know it was DHT and not Test or aging?

Lastly, I also want to say that I booked appointments with many urologists-andrologists who are experts in this field. I asked them about dht, whether it's useless after puberty or not. All of them laughed at the idea of dht being a thrash hormone after puberty. They said that dht is the active form of testosterone in the cell and it's the most potent androgen. There is no data showing dth being useless after puberty. It's all fabricated. Do you really think that all those expert andrologists are clueless and some internet hair loss gurus have the wisdom and knowledge they lack? I don't suggest anyone to not use these drugs. I use it as well and will use it unless something better without side effects hits the market. However, this doesn't change the fact that dht is still a quite important hormone.

Dht is absolutely essential. Most of the benefits people get on steroids come from dht like increased libido, confidence and and wellbeing. It’s a neurosteroid but it’s also far stronger than testosterone thus has more side effects. Baldness, accelerates aging, collagen nuking, prostate cancer and so on. It’s a tradeoff males make to perform better but also die quicker and uglier.

If you wanna nuke it it all depends on your individual metabolism. Some rely more on Dht so nuking even 50% of it can lead to serious health and psychological issues. Others can take that deprivation far better.
All in all, try it out and see how you respond. If you respond well to fin and dut, you will probably age much better than the majority of men but you should never nuke dht to 0.

@TsarTsar444 how important is DHT?

dht helps build bones in men

i believe eating a bone growth diet and working out often will redirect the excess dht from your hair follicles into your bones

Only permanent side effects I got from fin and dut are a shrinked prostate (I got softer boners and watery cum for the first few days of taking fin but they left soon after, orgasms also felt weaker for some months, dunno if they went back to normal or I got used to them) also prostate grew in size back to its original size after taking 1 pill of 50 mg sildenafil (viagra), I know this about my prostate because you can feel it contract inside you every time you spasm while edging or while orgasming.

Inhibiting DHT with fin causes bones loss?

inhibiting DHT in your development age ( 0-24 ) will cause less bones, that's why I resigned in taking any kind of dht blockers.
