He made a new account @bossreturns and the last time I talked to him on discord was in either Oct or Nov, so can Indians confirm if he roped or not? He did say that he was going to and how BP ruined his life but I still believe that he didn't and is still living.

i do but only those regarded as authentic by shia scholars

most people always try and bring a hadith from bukhari or muslim which are not reliable collections according to shias

but yes lol if you don't follow hadiths (i.e. are a Quranist) then you can barely be considered a Muslim
90% of the laws and practices in islam come from hadiths

the science of ilm al rijal looks into the chain of narration of a hadith and determines whether the narrators were reliable or not

if a narrator does not meet the standard of scholars then he is not reliable

the Quran tells us to establish prayer, but how would we know how to pray without hadiths telling us how the Prophet prayed?

Yep he said the same things to me in the discord call as well, he also told me about his hate love relationship with his parents and how he views himself negatively, he sounded pretty lonely and I tried to give him hope that he can still improve but he was too deep in this blackpill loop. I still pray that he's fine and has not taken a harsher step.

There are many verses that say a believer should obey (أَطِيعُوا) the prophet: 3:32, 3:132, 4:59, 5:92, 8:1, 8:20, 8:46, 24:54, 47:33, 64:12. So if the prophet orders a believer to do something that person should do it (otherwise it is disobeying God).

This is because Muhammad (ﷺ) was also sent to be an example of how to be a pious, good muslim (submitting to God).
