In school we're taught America fights for freedom. As a kid I legit thought America was like the superman of the world or some shit:lul:. I wanted to be a soldier up till I was like 15 before it finally hit me that all of that shit was just propaganda. Whole time the USA was just fighting for Israel and billionaires:feelsuhh::feelsuhh:.

I genuinely felt defeated after coming to terms with that, brutal af man. It was like being stabbed in the back. Its over

The modern state of america just goes to show how the founding ideals of it were not sustainable at all

They mean freedom of religion and freedom from autocratic rule, exactly what America was founded upon. The Islamic nations they've bombed are guilty of suppressing both freedoms.

israel doesn’t control america that much dawg

When America freed countries like Korea from communism was it for billionaires?

Do you think america actually goes into these wars because of some moral cause for freedom and not just geopolitical concerns?

its a mix of things. But believing that theres no moral component at all is not true.

The moral components you speak of tend to be extremely superficial, contradictory and act more so as a means of justifying it to the masses for approval and stability, the regime in south korea also committed multiple massacres and was not some beacon of freedom in korea either so it is also contradictory to say so (you can argue that north korea was far worse ofc but this is more so to point out that this wasnt some moral crusade against people that would take away freedom), the geopolitical component is the only one that matters for the most part when it comes to foreign policy

the u.s has definitely lost the values that surrounded their own establishment and formation

they fight for the rich.
they fight for the elite.
not the people.
nor the workers.
