i always thought it was normal cuz it was the right parenting to do

growing up whenver id piss my mom off like school,talking back,going outside. we would get into physical fights where she wld hit me with a remote,fists, sometimes choke me if shes very angry. i dont think it rlly ''disciplined'' me tbh id js start fighting back growing up and eventually she js stopped and gave up. we communicate if theres issues now tho so much better
