Since i was little my parents have made fun of everyones looks

"Look at that fat lady over there"
"They really have a huge forehead"

Is this normal for people to discuss with their families because once i brought this up with my friend and pointed out that some random person was ugly and they were taken aback and said "You cant say that bro"
