Did Beta-Carotene Make My Hormonal Acne Worse, or Was It Just a Coincidence?

Is it possible that my hormonal acne got significantly worse after I took 18 mg of beta-carotene per day for 4 months, or was it just a coincidence that my hormonal acne got worse at 18? After I stopped taking beta-carotene, my acne significantly improved after about 1.5 months, and after 2.5 months it was back to the level it was before I started taking beta-carotene.

My diet is 100% clean, so that’s not the issue. It’s important to find out if beta-carotene can actually trigger hormonal acne because it’s supposed to help your skin look better, not make it worse.
Also, why should I damage my liver and kidneys with Accutane if I can figure out what’s triggering my acne and avoid it instead?

Watch what you are saying "commercial products" just rope if you believe everything you see on the internet instead of doing ur own research and buying high quality skincare products. Just because you don't have acne genetically doesn't mean that other people can just eat clean and not have a skincare and have clear skin. I see so often people who are just lucky genetically, while I personally tried absolutely everything because i had severe acne for 3 years, and skincare is the biggest changer of it all, if i just skip it for like a week i get new breakouts because of genetics. So please don't defend a clueless infant
