it can dissolve the lower part of the maxilla called the alveolar bone to better accomodate teeth and when its done doing it the bone literally grows back in so its easily reversible...WE naturally replace all the bones in our body aswell..the bone getting dissolved is so minimal that it has no effects on your outward appearence but the teeth moving to a new position will change ur face because the teeth are the pillars of the face
