Did braces recess my maxilla?

I’ve had braces for almost 2 years (14yo-16yo) and I’m about to get them off, my ortho gave me class 2 elastics and power chains the whole treatment to fix my overbite. I also refused teeth extractions and my ortho said I could get jaw surgery in the future (I’m probably going to get it). I also wil get a removable retainer that holds my teeth in place. Is it likely that the rubber bands recessed my maxilla and can I fix it through thumbpulling since my maxilla hasn’t totally fused yet?

Yea my teeth were cooked but I’m pretty sure ima get them off in 12 weeks
