Lucas is known for being one of the first liberal progressives in Hollywood and was first to champion the cause of blacks, women, and even Indians.
But then I was thinking, did he not have a high opinion of sands and ricemen??
The Mustaffar separatists are clearly based on imperial Japan, and they are shown as incompetent, scared, and far inferior to the sith they 'unknowingly' serve.
The real blackpill though is the sandpeople. Tattooine is a desert shithole. Most Eisley is just a crime filled hellhole of dodgy traders and scheming conniving ethnics, was Tatooine the middle east, and Mos Eisley somewhere like Cairo or Istanbul or Baghdad?
And the sandpeople here are just short, ugly, aggressive, stupid, conniving, physical weak people, were these nomadic khaleeji arabs, or possibly even some of the nomadic Persian tribes???
