decided to go hike to this 4000 meter peak and i’m about 75% to the top when i hear this growling noise about 200 meters from me
i already was suspicious of the area cuz it was silent af with no bird noises and the vegetation was dense so i couldn’t see what was around me
the growling happened twice. at first i thought it was motorcycle but i’m so high up there’s none in the area and the sound sounds different
later i checked google and there’s lots of stories about locals getting mauled by bears or attacked by leopards
my white explorer genetics told me to keep going forward while my black genes told me to turn the fuck around and get out
i only had a stick that i found and would’ve resorted to picking up rocks if the leopard charged at me.
atleast i saw some nice views even though i didn’t make it to the top
