I have given up on considering battery life as an criteria for buying a phone. No battery ever works remotely as long as claimed. I just make sure to always have multiple charge cords around the house and car.

I bought a new Iphone 11 about 5 months ago right after they lowered the price to $500. It just isn't worth paying an extra $400 for a faster processor.

ngl when I saw the 11 that cheap I was tempted but I think you are underestimating performance. Yes it might be overkill now but you have no idea how demanding apps will get in the future. It’s also why I’m regretting not going for the bigger and better battery. Like you said they claim it last like 8 hours but in real life that shit seems to drain only after a few and as battery degrades it becomes worse and worse. But the heft on the pro model is to be taken serious. I tried cooming with my phone held at left hand and it felt like I had a 20 lbs dumbbell after a few minutes. The max must be killer.
