I saw on the internet that a lot of these rollers use metal rings instead of actually needles.

yeah, those aren't as good as the dermapen ones, rolling fucks up the skin more than directly/vertically puncturing it

no they are legit , but its better to take appointments for these rather than using them by yourself its much safer , and if you were to take some the best time is after 4 pm so that the sun exposure wont affect your skin .
