This is what the actual Hadith says.
Hadith 3788 from Musnad Imam Ahmad
The Messenger of Allah ï·ș sent for me (after ‘Isha). We set out until we reached a certain place. He drew a line for me and said: “Stay within this (line) and do not leave it, for if you leave it, you will perish.”

I stayed inside it. The Messenger of Allah ï·ș went a short distance (a stone’s throw or so). Then he mentioned some beings resembling the Zutt (tall, thin, dark-skinned people). (Affan said: or as Affan said, if Allah wills) — they had no clothes on them, yet I could not see their private parts. They were tall with little flesh on them.

They came and began to yarkabun (crowd/mount/surround eagerly) the Messenger of Allah ï·ș while the Prophet of Allah ï·ș recited the Qur’an to them.

They started coming towards me, surrounding me, pressing around me, and I became extremely frightened, so I sat down.

When the pillar of dawn broke, they began to leave. Then the Messenger of Allah ï·ș came back heavy (and tired), almost in pain from what they had done to him. He said something like: “I find myself heavy.” He placed his head in my lap (or on my thigh) and slept.

Then another group came wearing long white clothes (while the Prophet was dozing). I became even more frightened than the first time.

Some of them said to others: “This servant has been given good.” They said: “His eyes sleep but his heart is awake.”

Then they said: “Come, let us strike a parable for him.” Some said: “You strike the parable and we will interpret it, or we will strike it and you interpret.”

They said: “His parable is like that of a master who built a fortified building, then sent for the people with food. Whoever does not come to his food (or does not follow him) he punishes severely.”

The others said: “As for the master, he is the Lord of the Worlds. As for the building, it is Islam. As for the food, it is Paradise. He is the caller. Whoever follows him will be in Paradise, and whoever does not follow him will be punished.”

Then the Messenger of Allah ï·ș woke up and said: “What did you see, O Ibn Umm Abd?” I told him, and he said: “Nothing of what they said was hidden from me.” The Prophet of Allah ï·ș said: “They are a group from the angels” (or “They are angels”).

This hadith is also found in Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 2861 with a similar wording.

Note on grading: Ahmad Shakir and al-Albani (for Tirmidhi) considered it Sahih or Hasan Sahih. Others like Shu’aib al-Arna’ut graded it Da’if due to chain issues. It is often distinguished from the more authentic “Night of the Jinn” narration in Sahih Muslim (where Ibn Mas’ud was not present).

There are hundreds of miracles in the Quran from
4. Mountains as Pegs / Stabilizers

Ayah: Quran 78:6-7 and 21:31

Summary: Mountains placed as pegs/stakes to stabilize the earth so it doesn’t shake — linked to modern understanding of isostasy and mountain roots.

5. Iron Sent Down from Space

Ayah: Quran 57:25

Summary: “We sent down iron” — claimed to refer to meteoric origin of iron, confirmed by modern science.

6. Barrier Between Fresh and Salt Water

Ayah: Quran 55:19-20

Summary: Two seas meet but a barrier prevents them from mixing — interpreted as the modern discovery of pycnoclines or haloclines at river-ocean junctions.

7. Protected Roof / Atmosphere

Ayah: Quran 21:32

Summary: Made the sky a protected ceiling/roof — linked to the atmosphere shielding Earth from harmful radiation and meteors.

8. Darkness in Deep Oceans

Ayah: Quran 24:40

Summary: Describes layers of darkness in the deep sea where one can barely see their hand — said to match modern oceanography only possible with advanced equipment.

How can you deny these miracles that Quran predicted from hundreds of years ago with no mistakes? The Quran is perfect unlike other religious texts.
