pretty much the same thing happened to me. I had a small nose, and then over a course of a year it became really bulbous (like 3x increase). Parents never bothered to take me to get it checked. My only proof is that my nostrils are really small compared to the tip of my nose.

Same happened to me, I got punchedin the nose, didnt rly break the bone but the cartilage in the tip bled like crazy, it grew back more bulbous than ever. Considering a tip rhinoplasty atm
