Yeah I did once, a friend had to correct it but my machine was absolute trash. I wanted to do DIY taper but ended up nearly bald
 
I am probably gonna try again in the future, either buzzcut or taper. and save the 20 bucks which is alot over the years

i always cut my hair myself and it always looks good you just need to have basic knowledge about how to cut hair
