Once when I was 9 I didn't wake up at 6AM. My dad wanted to take me to play basketball. He was under the idea that I wanted to pursue the sport professionally, but I'd only told him that to make him happy.

When I wasn't awake 10 minutes after he shook me awake, he grabbed me by my hair and threw me onto the floor near the bed.

Other than that he's the sweetest guy ever.

My mom did too, but she fucked me up emotionally more than physically. I'm not scared of her anymore, still scared to death of my old man.

But now I'm a pussy that freezes up in fight or flight situations. Nothing I can do about it, I guess.
