I was invited to the occasional party, yet never went

My parents bought me a $17,000 car when I was in high school (this was in 2008 when 17k was a lot of money for a car), yet even that didn't gain me any popularity. If anything, it just made me get resented at my middle class high school (I was a rich kid at a middle class high school)

I will say that I did, but not in my first 3 years. I only started to actually socialize with people in senior year
